The Challenge in Agelu Agbon/Igbagbo
No Proper School Building
Children learn Quran in makeshift shelters that cannot withstand weather conditions
Limited Learning Resources
Insufficient Quran copies, Arabic textbooks, and teaching materials
Temporary Classes
We are currently managing a place not very condusive for learning.
High Dropout Rates
Many talented students leave or are not allowed to come to class by parent due to poor learning conditions
In the rural community of Agelu Agbon/Igbagbo, off Alafara Elenusonso Road, Ibadan, over 300 children from less privileged families face daily challenges in their pursuit of Islamic knowledge due to the complete lack of adequate educational facilities.
Our Solution: Build Darul Kareem
We are constructing a permanent, purpose-built Islamic educational complex that will include:
- 6 Classrooms for Quran & Arabic studies
- Prayer Hall that doubles as assembly area
- Library & Resource Center with Islamic books
- Administrative Offices for staff
- Secure Play Area for children
- Clean Water & Sanitation facilities
- Future Virtual Lab for online learning
- Boundary Wall for safety and security
Special Prayers for Our Donors
"Our students, teachers, and the entire community will make special Du'a for every donor. May Allah accept your charity, multiply your wealth, forgive your sins, and grant you the highest level of Jannah."
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Sahih Muslim)
What Our Supporters Say
"I donated for the construction of a classroom. Knowing that children will learn Quran there for generations makes this the best investment I've ever made."
"As someone who grew up without access to Islamic education, I'm honored to help build this school. This is true Sadaqah Jariyah."
